For some years now Green Hill was acquired by an American firm called Marshall Farms Inc. Marshall is a name infamous throughout the world as it is the largest “factory” dog lab exists. The Marshall beagle is actually a standard variety.
Marshall’s dogs are shipped by air all over the world, but with the purchase of Green Hill as the European headquarters and the construction of a huge farm in China, Marshall is pursuing a plan of expansion and market monopoly.

We celebrate for the 30 dogs freed and hope their futures are all certain and happy now; but this should not be at all necessary. Such a facility should not exist, not anywhere, any time, and these good people (not to mention the dogs!) should not have to deal with all this, and to somehow find excellent places for each of those dogs now.
I wait for the day when vivisectors are dealt with as they deal with those innocent lives. It’s easy for me to sit comfortably and hope for others to do such actions, using the excuse that my animals and few family members need me to be free, not stuck in jail. If anyone ever does get vengeance and make examples of vivisectors and their ilk (LEGAL animal torturers/killers) they certainly need to plan perfectly and never be caught, never talk about it publicly or in mixed company.
Damn, that these awful things are done at all, it really is devastating.

I agree. Most farmers won’t hesitate to shoot if we start messing with their income from suffering and cruelty. Until people learn how much the hundreds of pounds of meat they consume is killing them, giving them heart, kidney, liver, muscular and mental diseases each year, we’re fighting an army of ignorance. The worst kind.

I wish each of you strength of character, determination and God speed. I’m in Canada now but if I were still iun Europe, i would have been there. To close Green Hill and then close the Chinese one being built ~ can anyone say ‘lots of dynamite? will tell the world how serious we are. THIS MUST END. The time of being passive and allowing this torture to continue is finished. Civil disobedience? You betcha.
Trucks leaving this house of shame should run over nail sticks and into human blockades, human chains passing puppies and dogs along into waiting vehicles never to see the inside of these death insitutions. These people must be looking at shooting us and that will be their next move if we don’t shut them down. They need to know that this was only day one. Are they going to kill activists coming for thier money makers ? Once they realize that the cost in fighting us is ,loosing them their precious paycheques, they’ll realize that jail and their threats of death isn’t going to stop us. I am proud of every person who ever stood up against the bullshit of financial gain at the suffering of animals.

RIGHT ON SHARON! MOST INSPIRATIONAL THING I HAVE READ IN SOME TIME! This action, despite some setbacks and costs (dogs recaptured, activists jailed) was the right thing to do, and must defended and repeated in a thousand acts of resistance!

As an animal lover I’d say it is a beautiful thing to do, indeed. But I think to myself, would we do the same for the children dying of starvation in the “developing” countries? Would we go and freed the children who works as slaves in Asia/Africa and bring them home to our comfortable life in Europe? Think about it …
Conversely, would the United Nations ever send a rescue or mointoring team to Green Hill or any one of a million billion vivisection labs, factory farms, or slaughterhouses in the world. I think yes is the answer to your question, and no is the answer to mine.

By our all being vegan we would help feed starving people around the world, while now tortured animals in factory farms eat much of the grain grown in the world, utilizing cropland, manure lagoons fouling environments, wasting vast amounts of water, etc. And while vivisectors and other psychos are paid handsomely to torture animals in labs while that funding could instead go to feed starving people. Think about the food and water that go into feeding thousands of dogs crammed into the breeding factory at Green Hills, to keep the repulsive vivisection industry profiting, while people starve. This discounting the evils done against animals because people are suffering, well, it’s just disgusting and senseless of you to do that. You should be criticizing the animal breeders, not the heartbroken people desperately trying to rescue victims of this vile, evil system.

Children will always have a parent or gaurdian. These dogs have no one. Children can speak and say what hurts. Dogs cant. Children eventually grow up, some turning into adult monsters just like these CEOs. Dogs are forever innocent. Point made.
